“And look where that status got me.” He said, pointing out the downfalls of being a Malfoy in the spot light. He brought shame to his family name, it was because of him his wife and child had to suffer. It was for the best that he stayed away. “I am at ease with my life as it currently is. I do not wish for the spotlight to be back on me.”
Hermione stared at him, truly taken aback by how much this man had changed in the years since the war. She knew he wasn’t on the society scene from Draco but this was amazing.
“Well, if you won’t come out as my benefactor, maybe you can be a private consultant?” she asked as her mind whirled. “I have ideas to expand the charity but I worry I would go about it all wrong. You have a mind for business. Would you mind helping? Just as consultation! I would never reveal you’re helping or just how evilily generous you are.
@hermionesmagic Scabior/Hermione
Scabior laid naked next to the women. It wasnt surprising that after running into her at diagon Alley that they would end up back together. It was a never ending circle, they would get together, fight, break up and a few months or so down the track bump into each other and do it all again.
The crazed wizard stared at her as she sleep, his eyes travelling down her naked form and he positioned himself next to her, his nose running over the skin of her neck, taking in her smell before he bit down in the crook of her neck.
Even though Scabior has seen her naked form before, he couldn’t help but check her out as the sheet fell from her body. His eyes landing on her nipples as the desire to nibble at them came to the fore front of his mind.
“You got so intoxicated by my charm that you just can’t remember?” He questioned her, not knowing why she couldn’t remember but a grin spread across his face. “I’m happy to go through the scenario again for you to remember.”
Hermione just stared at him before rolling her eyes. She knew it would come back to her but unfortunately it was taking a bit. “We started drinking and you bet me in a drinking contest didn’t you?! You know I can’t stand down from a bet with you!” she said, hitting his chest again, ignoring just how tight the muscles were.
“Did I at least call into work and tell them I wasn’t coming back Lawrence?”

Scabior hadn’t expected her to wake up screaming. He looked at her with wide eyes, like a kid caught with his hand in the candy jar. He bit down on his bottom lip and nodded. He did bite her and he wanted to do so again.
She pushed him away as she rubbed her neck and sat up, forgetting she was naked as she exposed herself. “I don’t usually mind but Merlin, I don’t want to be woken in such a way!” she exclaimed, rubbing at her neck. “How did we….the last thing I remember is us going to bloody lunch!”
“I still wish to remain anonymous to the wizarding world.” He said to her. He knew she meant well but he had enough lime light for his life. He just wanted to spend the rest of his days in the cottage enjoying the peace and quiet.
“I know you mean well Ms Granger, I have seen how much good you have done and I will continue donating to your cause until my last breath but please I do not wish for my donations to be published.”
“Mister Malfoy, I would never publish it all without your permission, I promise. I mean, obviously, even Draco doesn’t know. But…you could…..could not be the pariah we both know you are.”
She swallowed hard as she looked up at him. “I just…I guess I don’t understand? I mean….don’t you miss your Malfoy-ish status? I mean, you grew up as a Malfoy. You could be that…that again.”
She took a deep breath as she stared up at him, seeing him differently than she had when she arrived. She had still seen him as THE Lucius Malfoy of Malfoy Manor, ‘my-father-will-hear-about-this’ Malfoy…She finally realized though, this was a different man though.

Hermione shook awake, screaming, and immediately pushed him away. She was confused as to where she was and whose teeth were against her neck.
“Whats…..what is,” she squeaked as she blinked, finally seeing Lawrence fully as her eyes cleared. “What the fuck Lawrence?! Did you just bite me?!” she asked, slapping against his chest.
“I wouldn’t give my money to anything that I don’t deem worthy.” He said stepping back as the ledger was pushed towards him once more. “One good thing doesn’t make up for the lifetime of horrors.”
He ran his hair through his long locks as he sat down in his seat and offering her a seat infront of him. “Making it public will make it seem like I am doing for myself rather than the children. As long as I know what I’ve done that’s all that matters.”
“Except you’ve been doing it for five years without saying something. I will release the story. I, honestly, want to. You’ve supported me silently for years, making sure those orphans had happy lives, making sure that muggleborn children are introduced PROPERLY to the Wizarding World rather than just thrown into it at the age of eleven.”
She sighed before sitting and looking at him. “I…I was honestly more excited finding out you were our benefactor than if it’d been Harry. He’s a donor too, of course, but…..knowing YOU’VE been donating. It….” she swallowed hard as she stared up at him. “You’ve changed. If you had done it for your own benefit, you would have publicized it years ago but you didn’t and only because I deduced it am I here.
Lucius didn’t say anything as he stepped aside, his eyes focused on her in a questioning gaze. There was no reason for the girl to be here. Noone came unless it was Draco visiting.
He held back a scowl leaving his face neutral as she talked about how Draco gave away the corporation that he used to donate to charities. There was a reason he kept it a secret and one of them was because he didn’t want acknowledgement for his contribution which he was getting right now.
“That is all very fine Ms Granger, but there is a reason I wished to remain anonymous.” He said as he push the book back towards her. “I do not wish to know the inside workings of where my donation is going. Just that it is helping out.”
Hermione blinked at him blankly, honestly surprised by his reaction to her revelation. “But…but don’t you want to make sure your money is being spent wisely?” she asked, as she pushed the ledger back toward him. “And the children. You’re helped hundreds of children in the Wizarding World! You have….have changed! Why would you not want to….to tell the world. You could, at least try and reclaim where you were. I would support it. I would come out and tell all the good you’ve done.”
During the war Lucius realised what he was doing was wrong, what he believed in his whole life was wrong but he was in too deep to get out. He was a known Death Eater and he had willing allowed his family into this mess. And now he had lost them, Narcissa left him and moved to France, Draco he barely talked to anymore. He was alone.
He had moved into a small cottage and never left. He decided this would be his punishment since the golden trio had somehow allowed them to walk free. He also decided that a way to make back for all his harm was to donate to the girls organisation. He didn’t want to be known, he wasn’t doing it for acknowledgement, he was doing it because it was the least he could do.
The old man got alerted when someone walked through his barrier, something that never went off. So he pushed himself up from his chair and over to the door. He opened it and watched as the young girl walked forward. “Ms Granger, what do I owe the honour?”
“Actually, sir, its my honor today. I have come into some knowledge about you and I wish to discuss it if I could come in. She nodded her head as he stepped to the side and allowed her inside.
She was amazed at how…not-Malfoy the little place was but then, she could tell he had changed, she had years of donations proving that.
“I was at a gala the other night, one benefitting my charity. I was having a riveting conversation with Draco. He was discussing Malfoy Industries and he mentioned another company in your portfolio….L&L Inc. I was surprised to find out that it was a Malfoy company because its also the top donor of my charity since I started it. In fact, its the reason we are able to do all the good we can for muggleborn and orphans. I spoke a little longer with him and found out that it was started years ago…by you.”
Her eyes sparkled as she pulled a huge tome that should not have fit in her purse but then….magic. “This is MM’s ledger. We keep highly meticulous record of every dollar spent,” she explained before pulling out a second book, a photo album. Opening it, he would see the smiling faces of hundreds of children over the pages and pages. “And these are all the children you’ve helped by donating to Muggleborn Mentions.”
